Craving Chocolate??? Go For it!!!!

Hello,

Do you have a sweet tooth? Trust me. You are not the only one. Here is the good news.........

You can have one ounce of chocolate per day=one ounce per day. We are not talking about a snickers bar or weight watchers chocolate (fake sugar filled) frozen desserts. We are talking about quality dark chocolate, with a cocoa content of 65% or higher. Dark Chocolate is loaded with nutrients that can positively affect your health. Made from the seed of the cocoa tree, it is a great source for antioxidants. Studies show that dark chocolate can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease. In moderation, dark chocolate is very nutritious. Quality dark chocolate contains:

  • Soluble Fiber

  • Potassium

  • Phosphorous

  • Zinc

  • Selenium

  • Iron

  • Magnesium

  • Copper

  • and Manganese.

Dark chocolate does contain stimulants like caffeine. However, it is not likely to keep you up at night, as the amount of caffeine is much less than what a cup of coffee would provide. Bottom Line: Quality dark chocolate is a great snack. My suggestion is that you have it with a protein in the middle of the afternoon such as a nut butter or peanut butter. And of course, this would help you practice my trade marked "secret." If you do not know about my trademarked secret click HERE.
